Have you been watching grown-ish? It gets better and better every episode. And they’re really going for it in how they’re presenting college life. This is not “safe” afternoon programming for innocent adolescents. These are young people pulling all-nighters, partying more than they’re studying, and casually dropping “abortion” into conversations. I’m surprised there hasn’t been more pearl-clutching about the show. But that’s perhaps why it’s on Freeform and not primetime network television.
Last week it was confirmed that grown-ish has already been renewed for a second season. Yara Shahidi celebrated that news by wearing the sh-t out of this black jumpsuit last night at the SAGs. Every decision about this look was the right one. The hair is drama and eliminates the need for extra accessories. That shade of red on her lips, with brown undertones, I can’t make it work but my GOD, it was made for her. And OMGGGGGG she’s coordinating with her mom, Keri. Look at her mom!
