Exactly 2 months ago, on January 12th, 2010, an earthquake devastated the Haitian landscape… but not the Haitian spirit.

K’Naan’s Wavin’ Flag is the anthem for Young Artists for Haiti, recorded by some of the biggest names in Canadian music in support of earthquake relief efforts. All proceeds will be directed to Free the Children, War Child Canada, and World Vision. It’s an amazing, goosey bump song that’s worthy of your fist pump. Drake!

LOVE JIM CUDDY SO MUCH!

Also… not that K’Naan needs any validation but you know, sometimes Canadians don’t embrace their own until they make it elsewhere, and K’Naan’s Wavin’ Flag just happens to be the official theme song for the 2010 World Cup, only the most mayjah sporting event in the universe.

Please, if you are able, please donate, volunteer, give what you can.

Attached – Avril out for dinner last night. She recorded remotely in LA. The rest are file photos.
