Where The Wild Things Are – NY premiere

A star-studded carpet last night in New York. Oscar winners Tom Hanks, Forest Whitaker showed up to support alongside the film’s stars Catherine Keener and Catherine O’Hara (love her so much), and young Max Records with Spike Jonze and Maurice Sendak. And oh yeah, Blake Lively too.

Where The Wild Things Are marks the third time Jonze has directed a feature film. Just three. And the others you know: Being John Malkovich and Adapation. What huh? He’s not just famous for dating Michelle Williams? Please.

Maurice Sendak trusted Jonze from the very beginning, calls him a genius. And Dave Eggers wrote the screenplay. It’s finally here. So you’ll see it this weekend, right?
