Can’t explain it. Last night I was browsing the articles, came upon this. Loved Amanda Seyfried’s hair in Mamma Mia – it’s the hair I will want forever and ever all my life and Duana is marking her as the next big thing but beyond that it was whatever. Same neutral attitude about Dominic Cooper too.

But they’re a couple now. Spotted making out at Mahiki in London earlier this week and they’re a couple and it’s been a long, soap opera twisty road getting them to a couple and she’s talked very openly about it and now… am obsessed.

So apparently she fell in love with him during filming in 2007, even though she had a boyfriend called Jesse:
“I just found him funny and it was like we were the same person - except that he’s British, almost 30 and a man! We both look like frogs with our wide-set eyes, we’re both indecisive and neither of us has a lot of willpower. Jesse was so special and being with him had such a profound effect on me, but the timing wasn’t right. I didn’t want him to be unhappy or have to deal with it (celebrity), and so it was me who ended it. The fact that I felt something in my heart for [Dominic] made me feel that something was definitely wrong – I sat and thought about it for weeks... We just spent time together and it was something nice.”

Like, super candid right? Appeals to all my smutty parts.

Problem?

Dominic had been involved in a long term relationship for 12 years…since he was 18.

Last summer, when asked about whether or not Dominic and his girlfriend were still together, Amanda said: 'Not really…sort of. I shouldn’t talk about it really because I don’t even know. But you know, it was 12 years; he’ll probably end up with her. He’s my best friend and I want nothing but the best for him.'

And now he and Amanda are together.

Drama! Passion! Controversy!

Dominic next stars in Brief Interviews with Hideous Men written and directed by…

John Krasinski?

Yes!

It’s showing at Sundance.

Amanda’s schedule is filling up too. Big Love, 2 films ready for release this year, and filming another…

Enough of the Hills, you say?

Are these a worthy alternative?
