The wedding dress, the veil, Amy’s smile, that people-pleasing, ideal young wife smile…
And Ben. This is why I thought from the very beginning that Ben was perfectly cast. Because even though on paper he’s that guy – tall, handsome, dimples, jaw – there’s always been a hint of something that can’t be trusted about Ben Affleck. He’s 85% believable. But you can always smell that 15%, right?
Come on. If you and your friends came across this wedding portrait in a magazine, or Instagram, you’d say to each other that this guy’s leering at the bridesmaids or running a Ponzi scheme. Or both.
I can’t wait to see this movie.
