The Grammys saluted Stevie Wonder last night at a special performance in LA featuring several big name artists all gathered to honour the legend. The show will air on February 16 on CBS.
In addition to Gladys Knight, Annie Lennox, Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga, John Legend, the Band Perry, Jamie Fox, and I Can’t Ariana Grande, who can’t ever change her hairstyle, Beyonce was there with JayZ. She and Jennifer Hudson gave us a Dreamgirls reunion too, posing for a shot together backstage.
Then she and Jay were seen out for dinner with Ed Sheeran who, of course, has been super tight with Taylor Swift, though since he’s been hanging out with John Mayer, I’m not sure if he’s committed an unforgiveable curse. (That was a stretch but Duana and I have been jousting back and forth all day with Harry Potter references.)
What do the Carters and Ed Sheeran talk about at dinner besides the obvious answer: collaboration?
Well, I’ve been telling you that their move to LA might have something to do with Jay’s ambitions for his agency. This is where he could start building those relationships.
