So about that Friday Night Lights movie…

Taylor Kitsch told me at TIFF that there’s “no f-cking way” it’s going to happen. Click here for a refresher. But we were at a party. Would it have been a different answer if the sun was up?

Connie Britton was on Watch What Happens Live this week and here’s what she said when it came up:

"You know, there's been a lot of talk about a lot of things. And some people are really excited about it, and other people aren't. I love the idea. I think it would be a great idea. But my former husband, Coach Eric Taylor…"

Andy Cohen wondered whether it was because Kyle Chandler wasn’t into it because there’s already been a Friday Night Lights movie. And Connie confirmed it:

"Well, and he has a point. And we would only do it if it was gonna be a great movie. That's the thing."

Me, I don’t really want them to do it. I want it to stay the way we know it – unblemished. Coach is right. But are you surprised?

Did you know that Coach wasn’t down with sex scenes? Here’s why one of the all-time greatest couples on television never did it on television. According to Connie:

"In the second episode ever, they wrote us a big sex scene that opened the episode. And he was so uncomfortable with it and it was so terrible that it was cut out of the show and we never had a sex scene again for the rest of Friday Night Lights."

Would you have wanted to see Tami and Eric Taylor doing it? I’m a pervert so, obviously, my answer is YES.

Also, Sasha just sent me this link and told me it was her “everything” today – click here.

And one more thing…

If George Clooney ever took his head out of his ass where romance is concerned, don’t you think he and Connie Britton would be THE SH-T?!?

Here she is last night at the New York Film Festival in a great black dress.
