Dion Phaneuf of the Calgary Flames is apparently strutting around these days with an extra large set of balls after landing himself his very own blonde Hollywood starlet. Word is, since she’s not exactly working back to back these days, Elisha Cuthbert has been spending as much time as she can in Cowtown, seen out and about and even at the mall with her man.
As far as puck bunnies go though, Elisha Cuthbert doesn’t hold a candle to Trevor Linden’s wife. New issue of Hello Canada has a great feature on Hockey Wives – Cristina Linden takes top spot. Seriously. The hottest hockey wife of all hockey wives. And she’s not an airhead either.
Cristina owns her own business – a thriving boutique in Yaletown called Basquiat, she runs marathons, and she is devoted to giving back to the community, particularly with organisations coming to the assistance of those living in Vancouver’s impoverished Downtown Eastside like Cause We Care. I remember when I was working in the shelter on a Saturday a few years ago, I saw her, very unassuming, drop off donation items at Covenant House Vancouver covenanthousebc.org.
