Here are Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield at the big New York premiere of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 last night, likely the last major carpet they’ll walk together in support of this movie, and maybe this franchise? I haven’t seen it. But, you know, you know what they say about Gwen Stacy. You what Emma keeps saying about Gwen Stacy. Or is that meant to throw us off?

Anyway, I do love the dress. I love that the top half of it looks like a handbag. You see that? The structure on the straps? Not really sure about the fringe though. Not really sure about the wisdom in covering the forehead, where so much strong energy and good luck is stored, right before the opening of a big movie. The Feng Shui chapter of my book, Listen To The Squawking Chicken explains in detail the importance of your forehead and why, in covering it, you’re compromising your luck supply. Keep an eye on this for when The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is released next weekend.

So what’s next? Maybe some down time before Emma has to start promoting Woody Allen’s Magic In The Moonlight. I hate this title. Colin Firth is an Englishman and Emma Stone is a con artist/fortune teller and he wants to make her pay for all her lies but, of course, they fall in love. Marcia Gay Harden, 54, plays Emma’s mother. Colin Firth is 53. What are the chances that Woody will surprise us and write a script where the man ends up with the woman who’s closer to his age instead of much younger?
