Giorgio Armani Gossip

As mentioned earlier in the Tom Cruise post, Giorgio Armani was honoured last night with the Outstanding Achievement Award at the Fashion Awards in London and, in addition to Tom, he had his two favourites with him. Full Story

Tom Cruise was also in Milan to honour Giorgio Armani. He will be attending the fashion show and cocktail tonight for Mr Armani’s 40th anniversary too. As a super super VIP. I mean, everyone’s a VIP. As in Turner and Jackson. Together in one post! Ms Turner and Ms Jackson are both in Milan for Giorgio Armani’s 40th anniversary. Both have been seen around town shopping the last few days. And both attended a private dinner last night for the designer. Check it out – a rare sighting of Janet holding hands with her billionaire husband Wissam Al Mana who runs a fashion conglomerate and, basically, owns Armani in the Middle East. Full Story

My father-in-law, like many fathers-in-law, is known to go on about not understanding the younger generation. He’s a sun worshipper, a strapping Polish man in great shape, who hits the beach whenever he can. He commemorated the occasion by blogging, for the first time ever, with the NY Times. It’s the best, best, BEST way to end your week.
