What Gwyneth’s Girl Sh-t sounds like

Click here if you missed my Girl Sh-t post on Gwyneth Paltrow yesterday about how she slagged the MET Gala and patronised Miranda Kerr. The photos in that article were taken of my G out to dinner on Wednesday night and it turns out she was meeting up with two radio hosts from Australia who’d won a contest, or something, it doesn’t matter. What matters is that they were granted the honour of an evening in New York with Gwyneth AND they were allowed to record parts of it...

As you’ll hear, if you can spare the 10 minutes, and I promise you it’s worth it, G has a buzz going. She’s super Valley Girl chatty, and she’s pretty unguarded...which means she’s fun and funny and, well, since I’m obsessed with her, obviously I listened with a smile on my face the whole time. You’ll be fighting your smile too, haters. She talks about “Chris”. Without reservation. And she sh-ts on the MET Gala again...

“Do you want me to be honest?”

Of course.

So she said it sucked. And that it was too much drama, directly referring to Kanye West. And then, naturally, she maybe took a side shot at Madonna because “we’re all too old” to be punk.

Another highlight -- how excited she gets when the radio hosts tell her that Psy told them that he met her. She also fronts like she didn’t know that Psy was pronounced the way it is. Apparently she and Chris Twi-Harded him for their kids.

Then the conversation turns to her hairy bush. I’ll let you enjoy that part without commentary...except I love the detail about Cameron Diaz and bikini waxes because, well, again, it’s a glimpse into what it might be like to friends with G. They spent FOUR HOURS with her that night. And got totally smashed. I’ve never been more jealous.

I sent this to Duana, who has never been into Gwyneth Paltrow, last night with the challenge -- I dare you not to like her when you’re listening to this. And, as of this writing, she hasn’t replied. Which, to me, means she can’t argue. It is rare when Duana can’t argue.
