It was announced today that on September 11, the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF) will broadcast across all major networks a new event called Think It Up to improve education in America. This is the same group that previously produced the Stand Up To Cancer specials. These are the celebrities confirmed to participate so far:

Stephen Colbert
Matthew McConaughey
Kristen Bell
Jessica Williams
Jeremy Renner

The headliners though are Ryan Seacrest, Scarlett Johansson, and Gwyneth Paltrow who, as you know, was also one of the prime faces of Stand Up To Cancer.

Beginning with the telecast, "Think It Up" will invite public middle and high school students to work with their teachers to develop projects that draw on their passions. Teachers can then post the project proposals to thinkitup.org, where supporters can contribute funds directly to individual projects.

The crowdfunding platform was launched in collaboration with DonorsChoose.org and received support of major contributors like Staples and The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

Along with support from visionaries and innovators in the education space and some of Hollywood's biggest stars, "Think It Up" will challenge students to dream big, and help teachers who bring out the best in their students. (Source PEOPLE)

Gwyneth is building a major telethon presence, non? Earlier this year she got stuck on some wires during the Red Nose Day show, remember? Click here for a refresher. I’m kind of into this “variety show” angle she might have going on with her career.

Here’s G with Apple shopping in the Hamptons yesterday – and giving Lululemon some major airtime. Collaboration next? Summer G looks really great, non?
