The NBA was in the UK last night. The Milwaukee Bucks played the New York Knicks. Even though the Royal Foundation has a partnership with the league, Prince Harry already met with Carmelo Anthony the day before – click here to revisit those pictures – so I guess that was enough to satisfy the royal involvement…? Maybe he just likes watching darts more than hoops.
It’s OK. We don’t need Harry. We have Idris. And that’s better. Here’s the first of what I hope will be many posts about Idris Elba in 2015. It was announced earlier this week that his production company is working on a project about Edgar Allan Poe as some kind of renegade crime fighting Victorian vigilante for justice, based on the book Poe Must Die. Not sure yet what role Idris is playing, if any. But if he wants to be Poe, I am down.
