I guess it's not really an undershirt but it's closer to an undershirt than a silk shirt and when I see him in it, well, you know, there's some imagining.
This is Jake Gyllenhaal at a screening for Love and Other Drugs in New York last night, early promotion for the film before its release in November. He and Anne Hathaway participated in a Q&A the other day, videos are below. As you can see, they have great chemistry, get on quite well.
Someone asked me the other day during the liveblog whether or not they were ok on set or if there were any problems. Absolutely not. They were friends during Brokeback and have had a solid relationship ever since, and before you ask - nothing was ever romantic, which of course is a testament to the actual art of acting, and how convincing two people can be when in real life it's actually nothing resembling what you see onscreen. I suppose this is why so many people believe so strongly that two people should be together when they've seen them together as characters. Apparently there's some faction of Grey's Anatomy fans who are convinced that Patrick Dempsey and Ellen Pompeo are carrying on secretly, that he's actually the father of her child and that it's all a massive conspiracy to protect I don't know who or what. Maybe we get too involved in our entertainment...?
