I’m the asshole watching David Letterman last night with a stupid horny grin on my face during Jake Gyllenhaal’s entire interview. He’s too f-cking charming. And it’s not just that he’s hot. It’s not just that he looks so great in Burberry right now, in Burberry practically every day which is how I’d style Jacek if he ever grew some taste. It’s not the new cover of Entertainment Weekly with Jakey and Annie naked in 3 versions (can’t wait for mine to arrive in the mail!). It’s not just these things but it’s also how funny he is. And the quick wit. Very quick wit. This boy can spar – and not in a cheap joke loser way (my husband is Bad Joke Guy, so I know about cheap joke losers) – and cleverly at that.
A 3 minute clip is all I could find and it’s not the best example (the entire interview was almost 8 minutes) but you get the idea. I’m not talking about the defensive end comment either. The point is he’s charming and he’s smart and he can conversate (for a few, cause in a few, we gon' do / What we came to do, ain't that right boo?) and I wonder, are these attributes being used on Swifty? Can she keep up?
I couldn’t. He’s too distracting. This Jakey overload makes it hard to concentrate.
Anyway, Anne Hathaway is hosting SNL this weekend. I’ve a feeling Jakey’s making a cameo.
