You know when I asked you about Jennifer and Gwyneth Paltrow, like whose dinner party you’d rather go to and, overwhelmingly, we all agreed on G because, come ON, obviously?
Who’d you rather karaoke with?
Here’s where I think Jennifer Lawrence takes it over G. Jennifer Lawrence karaokes in joke imitation voice. She wouldn’t groan if you put on Bohemian Rhapsody and group sing the “I’m just a poor boy, nobody loves me” part. She wouldn’t get pissed if you jumped in on her song. (Seriously, I’ve been to karaoke with some people who take it so seriously, they freak out if you join in with them, like it’s a solo and you’re pissing on their spotlight.)
G at karaoke? I mean I think she’d be fun. But I also think she’d put on a Beyonce song and tell you, before the first notes start playing, that she and Bey sang it at her place in the Hamptons once and then you’d want to kill her. There is no room for violence at karaoke. Only drinks with fruit and umbrellas in them.
