You know what John Mayer did last night? He and his girlfriend, Katy Perry, took his dad Richard out to see the Broadway production of A Christmas Story: The Musical. Then they went backstage and posed with all the cast members.

What do you think it was like at dinner? I mean, Katy, Katy given her background, she knows how to play the polite conversation game at dinner. It’s John who’d be difficult to manage. When does John not want to be the only person talking? Has his father indulged that? Probably. Is Katy tolerating that? Or did she kill it early? I want to believe she told him he was boring and he actually had to try for a change.
