We got another look at Toy Story 4 during the Super Bowl, this time introducing new toys Bunny and Ducky, voiced by Jordan Peele and Keegan Michael-Key, respectively, and also a look at revamped Bo Peep (Annie Potts returns!). That’s the word The Atlantic used when Key & Peele ended last year: “bittersweet”. The show was just award an Emmy for Outstanding Variety Sketch Series for its fifth and final season and if you’re a fan, you almost wish it was still around now, especially now, with everything that’s happened and everything that will happen coming up on the US presidential election, since they managed to address race and class and social issues with the perfect balance of humour and sharp criticism. Full Story

Comedian Mike Birbiglia’s feature film debut as a writer/director, Sleepwalk With Me, is a fantastic film, and his sophomore effort, Don’t Think Twice, is even better. Birbiglia makes comedies about comedy about life, and the natural comparison would be to Woody Allen, a fellow New York comedian who writes and directs talky, adult-oriented comedies that are (supposed to be) metaphors for life. Full Story

Comedy duo Key & Peele (aka Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele) wrapped up their brilliant sketch show on Comedy Central after five seasons last year. They left at their peak to make the leap to film, with the duo producing a Police Academy soft reboot, and Peele making his directorial debut with a Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner? parody called Get Out. Full Story
