Prince Harry was not with his family on Remembrance Sunday in London. That’s because he was commemorating Remembrance Sunday in Afghanistan at Kandahar Airfield. It was, understandably, a top secret trip that was not released to the public until after he’d left.
Captain Wales served twice in Afghanistan, the last time in 2012-2013. Representing his grandmother, he laid a wreath during the service and a handwritten note:
“There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. They will never be forgotten. Harry.”
While there, as always, Harry met with serviceman and toured the base. He’s a star right now. He’s the royal star. Like I said, this is my dark horse SMA candidate.
PS. Um, it is offside to mention that the pilot on that plane with Harry (Harry is shaking his hand in one of the shots below over the cockpit) is really, really goodlooking?
