Hi Hayley! I wanted to ask what you would suggest for exercises for someone with low mobility? I am in the process of being diagnosed with MS and I use a walker as my balance is a bit off (I sway slightly when I walk and get tired out). While I need my walker for balance (specifically for distance), I am in actuality a fairly fast walker (I get asked more often than I like why I use it). Full Story

Hi Hayley! I am an avid reader of Lainey Gossip and I read your article about summer workouts and it made me feel so much better about the amount of ice cream I have been enjoying! I am a menopausal, almost 50 year old high school teacher. I am looking for a weights routine that is efficient and that would build my muscles - I do not have a fear of being too muscly! (I was at my fittest in my early 40s due to playing roller derby for 4 years - I had beautiful muscles! Then I got injured and decided being able to walk was more important than hitting women on roller skates - adulting can be hard!) I also run, although that has dropped off the last couple of weeks due to wicked allergies. Full Story

Is it just me or does the first week of September always make you feel like it’s time to end the summer fun and start getting back to work? Hi Hayley,  I’m a single guy, new in town and I’m wanting to meet more friends, and maybe even someone special, and I was wondering if you have any advice on how to do that in a gym. Is a gym even a good place to meet people? If so, where do I even start? Everyone is so intimidating!! HELP! S ___ The gym is full of beautiful people, representing all types of beauty, that we all want to be friends with, right? Hi Hayley, In an effort to combat the slowly but steadily rising number on my scale, and to try to find exercise I actually enjoy instead of dread, I have turned to swimming laps. I loved swimming as a kid but it was always for fun, not specifically for exercise. I never had the endurance or speed to be on a swim team. Full Story

Hayley, Looking for advice on how to stay active while on a doctor ordered 2-3 week exercise restriction from lower back injury (moved wrong doing kettlebell swings). After two pregnancies in two years and turning 38 in two weeks, I was super happy to be back in the gym and working to lose the extra 40-50 lbs I’ve been carrying since my 1st pregnancy 7 yrs ago. Full Story
