Certainly not what I would have predicted at the beginning of the night. And this is certainly not as punk as it gets. Probably not punk at all. For Taylor Swift though, it’s definitely not her usual hand hearts. Does that deserve some credit?
She looks really, really good with her hair pushed off her face like this too. Much better than the fringe. And much better to highlight the eye makeup. I LOVE the drama in these eyes. It would probably feel heavy during application, but once everything comes on -- the J Mendel dress and the hair -- it hits exactly the right mood. Works well with the pale gloss on her lips too. This is probably the most beautiful I’ve ever seen her.
