Yesterday was the London premiere of Guardians of the Galaxy, and Vin Diesel showed up in a tee shirt with his one line from the movie, “I am Groot”, printed on it and wearing a pair of stilts to make him taller like his space ent character, Groot. While Bradley Cooper is maybe-fighting with his girlfriend on the set of a different movie, Vin Diesel is cosplaying himself at a premiere. He’s clearly having a ball being a part of the Marvel machine, and it’s kinda-sorta likeable. It’s not enough to make me forget what a dick he is, but for the moment it’s enough to make me like him more than BCoop. He was weirdly stiff and seemed bored and/or out of it at the LA premiere. What was that all about?
