Amanda Seyfried’s terrific tresses
The Testament of Ann Lee continues rolling out overseas, with the latest stop being the Berlinale for the film’s screening at the Berlin International Film Festival.
Amanda Seyfried, who is still working hard for this film even though it’s “over” in the US with no Oscar nominations, turned up in a rad take on a princess gown.
I was talking about Seyfried on Graham Norton yesterday with a friend and they actually said to me that the film is “over” since it didn’t get any Oscar nods and everyone should just…go home, I guess. I pointed out that it is still opening in non-US territories and they were just like, Yeah but no Oscars. I know we talk about the Oscars a lot here at LG, because it’s a huge part of the celebrity calendar, awards have a material impact on the film industry, and it’s a big fun pageant to take in, but also, damn, you can just LIKE a movie, you know? Would Sinners be any less good if it didn’t get any Oscar nominations? Anyway, Seyfried is still supporting this film, for which she SHOULD have been Oscar nominated. Kate Hudson, I will never forget your role in this snub!
To that end, Seyfried is still doing interviews, and she’s in Flaunt magazine, which always does cool photoshoots. That’s the case for Seyfried, whom they put in romantic gowns and armor.
My strongest take today, on a Friday after I spent half the week trying to eject my bones through my mouth, is that Amanda Seyfried doesn’t get enough credit for her luscious locks. She has a magnificent mane. A copious corona of curls. I know people DO talk about her hair, I just don’t think it’s ENOUGH. Like Blake Lively felt so emboldened by Hair Talk that she launched an entire hair care brand, THAT is how much we should be talking about Amanda Seyfried’s hair. If Amanda Seyfried had a hair care line, I would try every product.
