Check out Amy Poehler and Rashida Jones yesterday shooting scenes for Amy’s new pilot for NBC from Greg Daniels, executive producer of The Office. The project still does not have a title but word is the first script is hilarious. Yay!
Like The Office, Amy’s show will be shot mock documentary style but the setting is local government. "(Amy plays a) mid-level bureaucrat in the Parks and Recreation Department of Pawnee, Indiana" and her character is described as “a cross between Tracy Flick ("Election") and Michael Scott.”
So relieved the outlook is so promising. Love Amy. Desperately don’t want her new gig to suck.
