Anna Friel and David Thewlis - many of you know him as Remus Lupin - had been troubled for some time before finally admitting it was over. They confirmed their split last December. Two months after that, Anna confirmed that she was in love with Rhys Ifans. You’ll recall, Rhys’s previous high profile girlfriend was Sienna Miller.

I don’t find David conventionally attractive. But I do think he’s super sexy. I don’t find Rhys conventionally attractive. I also don’t find him super sexy, or sexy at all. Like David Spade, it’s a mystery to me how he keeps hooking up with such beautiful women. Also, after what happened at Comic-Con -- click here for a refresher -- erm, he might be a bad drunk.

Anyway, making their first official appearance together on the carpet as a couple, here are Anna and Rhys arriving hand in hand at the Raisa Gorbachev Foundation party tonight in London. She’s another one who always looks different to me. And SO beautiful. Like Andrea Riseborough and Jessica Chastain.
