Ben Affleck and Jeremy Renner are in Venice to promote The Town. Casey Affleck is in Venice to promote I’m Still Here. Joaquin Phoenix is in Venice but didn’t seem to show at the photo call or the premiere of his own movie – at least I can’t find any photos of him at the official events. He was around though, for some select press, and never took his cigarette out of his mouth. All of them hooked up for dinner last night, seemed to have a really great time, and then they’ll move on together to Toronto to continue the bromancing.

I don’t like that word. But it seems apt.

These boys on the festival circuit – Casey amid allegations he harassed female producers on the set of his movie, Ben without Taupe, surrounded by lovely costars, Renner the single hot stud with a lot of buzz, Joaquin the unpredictable... what?

They eat pasta, drink water, and go to bed early.
