Bennifer Friday News Dump Watch

Forget bump watch, forget ring watch, it’s the return of the weekly Bennifer Friday News Dump Watch, in which we hold our breath on a Friday in hopes that we DON’T have to cover a Bennifer divorce. Well, I’m holding my breath, because I’m lazy and I don’t want to be cramming extra work into my Friday, especially with a long weekend in Canada this weekend, and a long weekend in the US next weekend (if you take Friday off, that is). This is peak no-work Friday!

But a ring watch update is that this week, Ben Affleck was seen wearing his ring. And he and JLo were together at his office. So either they’re patching things up, or they’re planning their divorce, who can ever be sure. What I DO know is that whatever they’re up to, they can keep it off my Fridays. Speaking of Paramount, here is JLo going onto the Paramount lot yesterday. Is this related to the new book adaptation she's got to produce and star in for Netflix? Maybe! The point is, on the heels of the professional disappointment of canceling her tour, she is staying busy in other aspects of her career. She's like a shark, constantly moving forward.

There’s been a persistent rumor for months that Paramount might sell their legendary studio lot, which is in the heart of Los Angeles, as part of their plan to pay down their debt. So we also get to worry about the fate of a historic backlot that sits on some of the most valuable real estate in the world. Great.
