Colin Firth and Gary Oldman were both at the premiere of Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy last night in LA, a film they say should contend at the awards.

Colin is the reigning Best Actor. Sarah declared last week (click here for a refresher) that Gary is her prediction to walk away with it this year. So here they are... side by side... present and future?

Whatever happens, it’s a nice image. Both are unquestionably talented (WHY was Gary in Red Riding Hood?), one’s a beautiful elegant man, the other sexy ass beast...and Sirius Black! I often wonder how it was with Gary and Uma Thurman. Remember??? Let me throw you a hit of that Gossip Nostalgia. You young kids, I’m sorry you weren’t around then to appreciate. But look. Can you imagine?

Gary Oldman attended premieres for Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy and Final Analysis, and was pictured with Uma Thurman at the latter and State of Grace.
