There’s short hair the way asstalky Heigl does it, and then there’s short hair on Evan Rachel Wood. Sometimes it’s just a haircut. Sometimes a haircut can be transformational. ERW’s haircut wasn’t just an aesthetic change, it seemed like it was a whole personality shift.

No more Manson, no more doppelganging on Von Teese, no more fronting like it’s been a long, dark, 35 year old life.  It was replaced by a fresh Evan Rachel Wood looking and behaving her age - fun, silly, and enthusiastic.  

All of that attributable to a haircut? Obviously a stretch. Can we call the haircut a reflection though?

Evan Rachel Wood was featured at various events including season premieres, film festivals, and award ceremonies for True Blood and Ides of March.
