MTV announced the nominees today for their flagship event the Video Music Awards. And, well, this should not be a surprise.

Lemonade… everything.

Beyoncé was nominated for 11 awards including Formation in the Video of the Year category. The other Video of the Year nominees are:

Hello, Adele
Hotline Bling, Drake
Sorry, Justin Bieber
Famous, Kanye West

Basically if you have more than 2 words in your song title, you’re not getting in.

In celebration of VMA nomination day, because Beyoncé knows time before time happens, Beyoncé let herself get papped in Paris today. Since Beyoncé can never be sure of the quality of pap photos, Beyoncé also personally released a whole set of new photos on Instagram, including ones with Blue, in which they’re wearing mother-daughter matching Gucci.
