There have been riots across parts of the UK (Scotland’s not involved yet) over the last week, following the murder of three little girls outside a dance class. It’s being fueled by disinformation, anti-immigration sentiment, and the far right. King Charles, who is on vacation in Scotland, is now getting “daily updates” on hate crimes. I’m sure that will fix it. (Celebitchy)

 

Jon Hamm is really, really good in Confess, Fletch, which is a fun and breezy update to the Irwin Fletcher comedy-mystery franchise. It was released into the COVID era of very limited theatrical runs and basically no box office, but still found a following on streaming. Director Greg Mottola, however, has announced that there will be no sequel. We do not deserve nice things. (Pajiba)
