Bloomberg’s Lucas Shaw wrote a comprehensive piece on the chaos behind Kevin Hart’s production company, which has pretty much laid off its TV and podcast staff.

It is specific to Kevin, who recently signed a branding deal with Authentic Brands Group (David Beckham, Marilyn Monroe and Elvis Presley are some of their other big names), but it’s also about the significant downturn in Hollywood, the realities of toying with AI, and the risk of investing in the marketing power of celebrities. A really interesting read.

Anyone who has watched TV in the last 30 years will recognize at least 3 people in this photo.

No one likes entitlement and “do you know who I am” is one of the most obnoxious phrases in the English language, but to be quite honest, I would absolutely use my celebrity power to try for a table at a hot restaurant. Not in a demanding way, but in a Hannah Einbinder “let’s see if we can get some motion” with the hostess way. Not outright asking, just quietly hoping.

Annette Bening in Taylor Sheridan show? Recession indicator.

Ne-Yo has said he has lost work for being openly polyamorous and the thing with this is, the only time I hear about it is when Ne-Yo is talking about it. Are people clutching their pearls over this? I don’t know if people are as invested about him being poly as Ne-Yo wants them to be.

Jaime Pressly has launched an OnlyFans page, on the heels of Shannon Elizabeth. Both reportedly had very lucrative debuts. The margins on OF must be great for creators and it’s probably a lot less of a time commitment than reality TV.

Bella and Gigi Hadid often post this photo of their hot mom, Yolanda. When she was on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she advised a very hungry Gigi to “have a couple of almonds and chew them really well.” Almond Mom cannon.
