JLo has been doing so much press and there’s a lot to unpack, but Bravoheads like me are particularly interested in the question about Southern Charm. It is a Bravo show set in Charleston and at a reunion, a cast member called Madison was in a fight with her ex Austen and someone (messy Craig) brought up that she was cheating on him with an ex MLB player. Bravo beeped the name but sleuths quickly uncovered that the man in question was Alex Rodriguez… and he was engaged to JLo at the time. They broke up shortly after. Gossip Sliding Doors.

If that didn’t come out, would they have made it down the aisle? Bennifer 2.0 may never have happened.

Lainey wrote about the Victoria Beckham documentary this morning, noting that they are friends with Marc Anthony (and she’s not close with JLo) and Will and Kate (though Meghan Sussex has worn VB, as recently as last year in Colombia and that great blue dress in the rain, at one of their last official engagements). You know who else the Beckhams took in a divorce? Tom Cruise, over Katie Holmes. Fascinating. Because how do you even get close to Tom Cruise?

John Mulaney is directing Robby Hoffman’s Netflix special, a big stamp of approval for a rising star from an established comedian. John Mulaney is an elder statesman and he’s only 43. But he’s always taken on the prestige gigs: SNL, Broadway, multiple specials and a talk show - so it feels like he’s been around forever. What’s interesting about John is that when it comes to scripted film and TV, he’s always a guest star (like on The Bear) and never the headliner. I wonder if he will ever act and not play a version John Mulaney. Or maybe he’ll be like Larry David, who even on a fictional show is Larry David.

I love how Julia Roberts said she was scared of Chloe Sevigny’s cool and Chloe is basically like ya, you should be.
