Carey Mulligan and Shia LaBeouf are in New York, still very much together, still very much in love. Sigh. They are my favourite. It even seems like he has less of an attitude problem these days because of her. I’m projecting?

Carey of course should be headed for LA soon and the Oscars. Unlikely he’ll attend with her. Mom will probably be her date. I get it, but it’s really too bad. For us selfish gossips. I’d love to see them posing together on the Kodak carpet.

As for Carey’s chances – obviously up against Sandra Bullock and Meryl Streep, a win for her is definitely a long shot. Having said that, Carey could benefit from a split between Sandy and Meryl.
