Oscar is still over 5 months away but the buzz for Carey Mulligan has been building since Sundance in January. An Education finally premiered in LA last night officially kicking off Carey’s campaign. So far, every prediction list and website has cited her as a virtual lock for a nomination with critic after critic gushing about her performance. Indeed, she is extraordinary. And she will be receiving the Hollywood Breakthrough Actress Award at the Hollywood Film Festival later this month. All that…and a new boyfriend. It’s a year to remember.
