Speaking of Carey…

She was out last night in New York at the opening night of the off Broadway play Three Sisters supporting an old friend. Carey and Peter Sarsgaard worked together on An Education. Sarsgaard and his wife Maggie Gyllenhaal are both featured in Three Sisters, and the reviews have been very positive so far.
As for Carey – we started the week with photos of her holding Eddie Redmayne’s hand. He was not seen last night, but she was spotted chatting happily with Jake Gyllenhaal. Naturally, since he’s been such a player pimp these days, everyone’s trying to make Jakey and Carey happen…because obviously they should f-ck.
But while I’m all over the possibility, unfortunately the only thing I can tell you is that it was simply a conversation, nothing more. They didn’t leave together either. So for now, the only story here is that two people were at the same place and talked. The end.
