Why do they all have to do both? Country B can sing. Who says she can act? The same applies to so many of them. In reverse too. Like Leighton Meester. Acting good. Singing, no.
Anyway, here’s Carrie Underwood in Hawaii shooting Soul Surfer this weekend showing off her best Country BitchFace. Soul Surfer is the story of Bethany Hamilton, the American surfer who lost her arm in a shark attack. Underwood plays her sister in a supporting part alongside Dennis Quaid and Helen Hunt with Anna Sophia Robb in the title role. Oh the poor PAs on that set.
After wrapping on Soul Surfer, Carrie is expected to kick off her tour second week of March. There’s been some buzz about whether or not she’ll pop into Vancouver for the Olympics with Mike Fisher. Fisher was not named to Team Canada but many unselected NHL players are flying in to enjoy the festivities anyway. Friday is NHL night at Club Bud. However, so far, Fisher is not one of the names on the early lists. Not really his scene. Will keep you posted.
