The Beckhams went all out for Easter (they love a theme!) on a super yacht vacation with most of their children (minus Romeo, who is working). 

 

Whatever was happening with Nicola Peltz and Victoria has passed and they seem very friendly. All of the Beckhams showed up to support Nicola with her film and sure her dad can finance it, but no one wants to see Nelson Peltz on the red carpet. Nicola wore one of Victoria’s designs to the premiere and while the monster-in-law trope is strong in pop culture, it was a “source” from Nicola’s side who once told the UK tabloids that she wouldn’t deign to wear one of Victoria’s designs on her wedding day but she was “always just going to let her design something. But she was never going put that on her. She has too many actually talented designer friends." Well well well, how the turntables have turned.

 

It’s April Fool’s Day but I feel like because it’s butted up against Easter, the pranks have been bumped by cute Easter photos. I’m fine with that. I would much rather see bunny ears and Easter egg hunts than the celebrity “I’m pregnant” go to. 

 

Karlie Kloss continues to buy up media, this time it’s Life magazine. Karlie has made quite a long-term commitment with Kode with Klossy, which is still active and gives an idea of how Karlie follows through on projects. If her goal is to expand media (or at the very least, maintain archives that are constantly being lost in acquisitions), then I’m down for it. 

 

We need more magazines, more websites, more stable and fairly paid work for journalists, editors and photographers. 

 

I really liked Stephanie’s piece on the Bravo-to-OnlyFans pipeline. It’s funny because former Housewives use OF in a really similar way to how former sitcom, athletes and reality stars use Cameo. It’s like a pop culture catch basin – you can book one of the Oompa Loompas from the infamous Willy Wonka Experience!

 

I have a friend I call my podcast whisperer because she listens to every podcast – seriously, she regularly runs out of podcasts to listen to. She updates me on TJ and Amy and now I need her to give me the goods on this Tori Spelling podcast, in which she apparently calls her estranged husband Dean to talk about her divorce filing and her side of the call is recorded. Tori and Dean had a reality show and she seems primed to do it again but I don’t know if the demand is there (she has said she tried to get on Housewives and Andy Cohen turned her down). But it is feeling a little Valerie Cherish now, isn’t it?
