Jimmy Fallon is promoting flying cars (what would his friend Tina Fey say about this?) and I’ve always been puzzled about the desire for flying cars.

Why would we want to turn car accidents into plane crashes?

Drew House has become the proxy for the Justin Bieber versus his old team (including Scooter Braun and Ryan Good) drama with both sides airing out to TMZ. Justin’s side is represented and I’m guessing it is because he knows that if he doesn’t play, he will get railroaded. I could talk about Justin Bieber all day because he says SO MUCH about celebrity.

If we drill down to the basics it’s this: his teen and adult life has been heavily guided by two men, Judah Smith (who his mom introduced him to as a teen) and Scooter Braun. These are both very long, very tangled relationships. And the tidy story is that one is bad and one is good, or both are bad, but life in business and religion is much, much messier than even TMZ can present.

James Gandolfini created and carried one of the most influential TV characters of all time. With that came complications, on set and in life. When books or films come out about the difficulties of actors who have passed away, it’s hard to know where the line is. Artists are complicated – is sanding down all the rough bits of their legacy a sign of respect, or is it dishonesty (which is the antithesis of the kind of work that made them so beloved.)? It’s difficult because when I see a headline on “Matthew Perry’s final days” or something similar, I find it gross. But I am interested in what made James so enigmatic and singular.

This is a headline I’m not really getting: “Post Malone Served Custody Papers from Ex-Fiancée Just 2 Days Before Coachella Performance”. OK, and? He’s a performer who travels and tours a lot, is there ever a good time? It’s not like he was served ON stage. I don’t understand what they are trying to imply here, that it was too close to Coachella? And it could be worse for Posty – Olivia Wilde was served ON stage.

I did a quick search on Richard Gere’s son Homer and he is listed as an actor on IMDB. Did I miss a new nepo baby drop? There are new ones popping up every day.
