Saw a story on Ethan Slater’s upcoming appearance on Elsbeth, something that would never be covered without the Ariana angle. It got me thinking that they’ve been pretty quiet, there’s been some rumbling online that they’ve broken up. 

I don’t believe this. They will last through the second Wicked because they’ve put so much into launching this relationship to break up now. Right?

I was glad to see Lainey’s post this morning about Hailey Bieber and the revelations from Francesca Farago, who is a longtime influencer and had a massive following before she went on reality TV. And like Lainey, I don’t know what to do about it either because I actively try to disengage from negative celebrity content (especially the talking heads) and the first post I saw this morning was a grown-ass woman telling a completely fabricated, transphobic, disgusting story about Hailey Bieber that was OBVIOUSLY made up. And the person who reposted said, “I don’t believe it but I don’t care.”

How do you fix that? Yes, social media is powered by machine learning but it’s also powered by people who gleefully participate. 

Oh I loved Stephanie’s story on Kenya Moore yesterday and I’ve been following closely because Atlanta is my all-time favourite franchise. I have such a soft spot for Kenya, who for years was a stellar reality TV villain. I don’t know what happens next but I do think there’s a bigger discussion to be had about how these shows function as a workplace and what Bravo specifically said about Kenya. If a cast member threatened Kyle Richards (who is an obvious favourite of production and Andy) they would be immediately fired. Production would rally to protect her. It would be a massive deal. 

We need Duana to weigh in here on this baby name spat: a Bachelor person said her ex used her dream baby name for her dog. The name in question is Teddy. I’m no expert but I’m  going to weigh in here: Teddy is very popular right now. It’s also a classic and unisex. If she didn’t draw attention to it, no one would know about the dog connection. I think he is in the clear. Bangs gavel.
