I have no idea what this poster is doing to the internet today and am too scared to look, but I coincidentally rewatched Joker this weekend. Joaquin was great, he’s a great actor (if a little MUCH of an artiste). But when I watch this movie, it will be for Gaga.

I know what Joaquin can do, I want to see her as Harley.

Rita Ora posted a bunch of photos from Taika Waititi's birthday party and some people might be excited to see James Cameron but I’m more excited to see Lori Harvey out in the wild. She looks fire. Happy Monday, Jacek!

Bravo has, so far, escaped unscathed from the reality TV reckoning that never was (partially because its biggest advocate is an insufferable windbag). As a fan, I’m a big believer that if a grown woman joins a show that is 10-15 years in, she knows what she is signing up for. Lay down with dogs, wake up with fleas etc. I also think these shows have to have some anchor in reality and in reality, people can have all types of issues and ugly beliefs. There’s a line between platforming these women and documenting them – I don’t know what that line is. But this year OC feels different because not only did they bring on a former cast member to specifically torture someone (Shannon Stroms Beador) but that thirsty woman also brings Shannon’s ex John, less man and more toenail-clipping-lodged-behind-a-toilet-bowl. It feels like they are hunting Shannon. It’s uncomfortable. And what’s interesting is that they thought they would be the heroes but instead, the audience has sided with Shannon (despite her recent and reckless DUI).

The fan comments are also really telling, with people genuinely concerned that Bravo is allowing a vindictive ex to have access to Shannon on camera; he is using that access to sue her and threaten to release Ring camera footage of her. Some people have pointed out this can be a form of reactive abuse. I’ve never seen so many calls for Bravo to be more responsible.

One conspiracy theory I am interested in is why hasn’t Taylor Swift posted about It Ends With Us after she went hard for Deadpool vs. Wolverine? Obviously she’s been quiet since her show cancellations (I don’t cut Taylor much slack, but that is understandable). But she did post about Post Malone recently in her stories. My uninformed guess is that Blake is aware of the general conversation not being in her favour and doesn’t want to drag Taylor into it. I have no doubt Taylor is behind the scenes supporting Blake, who is in her very own Reputation era.

Erasing Kesha? Not on Mr. Worldwide’s watch!
