The Eras tour officially ended with no special guests, no Travis and no Reputation (Taylor’s Version) announcement, so the Swifties are still on high alert.

Are they ever not on high alert though?

Lainey covered Jay-Z this morning and his statement is still up on Roc Nation's various social accounts. We don’t need to get into how deeply connected he is and how long he has been at this but I was fully expecting some support here. Not one single like from another celebrity. Even Diddy got a few high-profile likes with his first statement. The fact that Jay’s very deep Rolodex isn’t publicly backing him, yet, is the story I’m watching.

Selena Gomez is a double-nominee this morning but over the weekend she ran into an issue with Eugenio Derbez, who made some comments on a podcast about Selena’s Spanish. She defended herself, which OK I get that. And then she said don’t blame my fans for defending me. Groannnnn. Selena is 32-years-old and producing good work on many different fronts – when will she move on from this fan service? It’s one thing to appreciate the people who grew up with you, it’s another thing to encourage it.

And yes he apologized, I’m sure the thousands of comments about his English were really helpful.

Ryan Reynolds is talking to Andrew Garfield for Actors on Actors, a genre that used to be novel but now actors are always interviewing each other so it’s not as exciting. Ryan plucked one of the many, many tweets poking fun at the pairing with an answer that is earnest and not defensive. But it also shows how very online he is and how he can’t, to steal a phrase from his post, “hide the stitching” in his desire to be considered more than Deadpool. I’m sure all actors yearn for that kind of acceptance from their peers, most of them don’t tweet it.
