Tomorrow is Valentine’s Day and remember, it’s a time for updating gossip records. But this has to be done judiciously – if a couple hasn’t posted about each other before, they likely won’t start. I don’t expect Gracie Abrams and Paul Mescal to hard launch or anything. But if it’s a couple that does post about each other a lot, then the absence of a post becomes significant. 

 

Beyoncé has paused her website birthday wishes but Kelly and Michelle always get prime placement on her Instagram. With a caption and an emoji. 

 

Speaking of Beyoncé, it’s been 10 days since this post and I’ve been meaning to mention how she stopped for Kevin Frazier for ET. Kevin is very good at his job, she immediately recognized him and I think part of the reason she stopped is because it was him. And he was so READY. Like imagine having to just be ready to interview Beyoncé when she pretty much never does interviews? He was so smooth about it. And it got him some love on social media, including this verbal volley with Nene Leakes. Now I’m biased because Nene is my all-time favourite Housewife and she is a wordsmith. Again, he was ready to engage. No pauses, no hesitation, no ‘ums’. It’s such an invisible skill. 

Ant Anstead appeared on his ex-wife Christina Haack’s show (which she hosts with her other ex-husband and his wife). They had a tricky split and custody issues but have worked it out, which is great for their son. 

 

Ant is still with Renée Zellweger and while most people don’t work with their ex, Christina is a very popular TV personality who thrives on it. It adds a little spice to HGTV. Why would Ant do it? Well he has hosted shows, but he’s currently in a lawsuit tied to a custom car company he launched  He needs to work, the lawyer bills alone would be killer. 

 

I don’t cover Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni because Lainey and Sarah cover it so well and because the constant stream of information is often not accurate or valid to the case – it’s a trick to overwhelm everyone with so much information that it turns into “ugh I wish they’d both go away!” I’m mentioning Colleen Hoover because she is back on Instagram and has scrubbed photos of both Blake and Justin, which will definitely be treated as a condemnation of Blake. I don’t think it is. Colleen is mentioned in the lawsuit and the way Justin’s lawyers are moving, I wouldn’t be surprised if they filed against her as well. I do wonder how it will impact her future projects, which already have big names attached.
