Drew Barrymore got the “one foot in the grave and one on a banana peel” monologue assigned to her at Watch What Happens Live and Drew is too nice for this.

The vitriol of the text didn’t come through.

More turmoil at a big fashion house with Sabato De Sarno leaving Gucci after two years. There’s a bunch of designers who could be in the running for the job and I think after such a short stint, the replacement is already lined up.

Did Gen Z give us back skinny jeans?! Wow. I’m taking it one step further and dusting off the Current/Elliot boyfriend jeans.

Brody Jenner, the poster child for millennial f-ckboys, most often makes headlines now for his relationship to the KarJenner family but as he has repeatedly said, there’s little involvement and definitely no financial benefit. Caitlyn was not an involved parent and pretty much left the first set of kids high and dry.

This is something that’s hard to grasp but I think very common in this circle – the first family gets left behind and struggles. Brody’s mom then married David Foster, but that meant David had less time for his older daughters (Erin and Sara Foster said they didn’t even have the code to the gate to his house). When David and Linda Thompson divorced, he moved onto the Hadids. Ryan Murphy is going to make a mini-series about this one day.

Chapell Roan’s Grammy speech included a call for record labels to provide their artists with health insurance and many are applauding her (except for this really weird op-ed in The Hollywood Reporter). As Chapell uses her platform, so is a nail artist who was asked for work for the bullsh-t “exposure” payment. Chapell’s team reached out to @hollywiththegoodnails and requested a set of nails – incredibly complex work – for free. Holly posted receipts from May 2024 (you can see the screenshots here). The fan defence has been swift. But Chapell fired her team! According to internet sleuths, not this styling team – they still work for her. But she can’t know what everyone on her team is asking for! True, but Chapell has said she controls every aspect of her image and work. She also frequently tags her team. Now I’m not saying she did or didn’t know what her team was asking for or calling out Chapell, but the power dynamic of “this person should be grateful to work with a celebrity” still exists. A tag or a mention in Vogue doesn’t pay the electricity bill.
