PEOPLE is of course the go-to for this cover; it’s probably the most sympathetic audience she will find. A recent story described her and her husband as “outraged” and lamenting her loss of privacy over a “family matter". Is a criminal indictment a “family matter?” Maybe for the Kushners. But if we go back, way back, here’s Lori Loughlin defending Paris Hilton during her DUI (via Pop Culture Died in 2009), saying the sentence was “making an example of her.” Guess DUIs are a “family matter” too.

Demi Moore’s memoir, which is years in the making, is being released in September. To give some context, the deal was announced when she was still married to Ashton Kutcher. That’s how long this has been gestating. She is certainly patient with her work and I think this book will be extremely juicy. This woman has some stories.

Kate Hudson, Zoe Saldana, and Gwyneth Paltrow were in Dubai together. Gwyneth was part of Dubai’s #bemyguest campaign in the spring, so maybe this is an extension of that. It’s definitely a work trip.
