It’s not a stretch to predict that Rhode skincare is getting set to scale its operations, which could mean partnering with a major retailer like Sephora or Ulta or opening standalone stores (or both). Like all beauty brands that take it to the next level, Rhode has an experienced CEO in Nick Vlahos who was at The Honest Company and before that, Burt’s Bees and Clorox.
An acquisition could also be in the mix, but the market is shaky right now.
Sarah wrote about The White Lotus season finale and I agree, it was uneven. For me, there were some parallel lives that weren’t explored, particularly Rick and Tim. They read as similar in age and but different in circumstance; Rick is tortured by the emptiness of his core family and Tim is tortured by the expectation of his family life. Rick has a partner who is attuned to his needs and wants to help him; Tim has a partner who is completely oblivious to his zombified nervous breakdown. It started with a confrontation on the boat but never went anywhere.
It’s not totally surprising that As ever has had a small shipping issue (it sold some honey that can’t be delivered). That’s not unusual when demand is so high, but because it’s Meghan Sussex a small customer service issue gets full coverage in People.

Beyoncé’s Cécred has launched at Ulta and have you seen the viral reviews on it? Apparently, the Restoring Hair & Edge Drops work. I love how he specifically thanked Ms. Tina because you know she sees everything online.
Whatever is going on with these viral Minecraft movie theatre experiences is beyond my comprehension but I love that this is the kind of movie that would be made on The Studio. If you’ve watched, you know exactly what I mean. It’s a ridiculous idea that could make $500 million or kill multiple careers.
