What tour? THE WORLD TOUR. (It’s actually five cities.) What else could it be today but the Gallagher brothers. Thank you for all the panicked messages on social media – I’ve heard you all loud and clear. It’s all happening. 

Hayley Williams and Shawn Mendes are just two of the celebrities publicly supporting Chappell Roan. I’m guessing that behind the scenes, there are many more cheering her on and hoping this leads to a change in aggressive fan interactions. Hayley Williams’s statement included her specific experience and she says, “this happens to every woman I know from this business, myself included. social media has made this worse.” Female pop stars face unique challenges (like AI manipulated images) and misogynistic standards around bodies and sex, while male pop stars like Shawn, Justin Bieber and Harry Styles also face consistent harassment around their personal life and mental health. The common denominator here is the fans.

You know who didn’t appear to be at Blake Lively’s birthday party in Rhode Island? Keleigh Teller. The squad giveth and the squad taketh away. 

Warner Brothers has picked up the option on three Ted Lasso cast members, which could signal a fourth season. This does not include Jason Sudeikis, Juno Temple or Phil Dunster, but that’s always a possibility if they want to negotiate deals. But this whole thing is feeling a little… desperate. Season three felt rushed and disjointed, with many of the storylines going the way of fan service. Especially Nate, whose budding incel-ism was cured by a mysterious girlfriend who rarely spoke. Yes, that’s the cure for an angry man – a quiet and attractive woman. 

 

Speaking of show pickups, Yellowstone may not be done according to Puck (a very solid source). The twists and turns with this, the spinoffs, the feuds – Taylor Sheridan is gossip girl.

Ben Affleck is now doing the *Shaggy voice* “it wasn’t me!” about Kick Kennedy. I have no idea where this rumour came from - maybe a tabloid just pulled it out of its ass - but could it be worse timing for him? Not only does it make him look like a scoundrel but that branch of the Kennedy family is not exactly shining bright right now.
