Ariana Grande posted an album on Instagram (what the kids refer to as a photo dump) and buried in there is a picture of her kissing a boy. She and Dalton Gomez started dating in the early part of the pandemic. Here’s why I like this for her: her engagement and breakup with Pete Davidson was very public, so it’s nice she can switch gears. Also, Dalton Gomez has a private Instagram account (she follows it), which bodes well for him. Ariana falls hard and fast and the last thing she needs is a guy clinging to her name the way Demi Lovato’s ex tries to cling to Demi.

The Veep cast is reuniting for an Act Blue virtual table read for the Georgia election and I would kill to see this. Only Americans can donate and participate (need a valid passport number) but if you do, please tell me everything. This is one show I actively miss.

Speaking of shows we miss, we have proof of life regarding Succession’s third season via New Yorker writer Rachel Syme and confirmed by Gerri (J. Smith Cameron).

Gwen Stefani wore this Christian Siriano creation to the Christmas in Rockefeller Center special and it’s really good, right? This could be a red carpet outfit and it’s exactly over the top enough for a holiday concert, but on Gwen still looks high fashion. She does this so well.

Dave Franco interviewed Machine Gun Kelly for Interview Magazine and it’s not just about Megan Fox: MGK talks about taking on the traits of his stage persona, going to therapy for the first time in his life and seeking treatment for substance issues. He is so in it – all of it.

Miley Cyrus on Howard Stern is an essential listen because she’s very candid and insightful about her fame and he asks great questions, the kind of questions a gossip asks. Here’s an excerpt of her talking about her house burning down in Malibu: "I had so much and it was all gone, every song I had ever written was in that house," she continued. "Every photograph of me that my parents had given to me, all my scripts, I lost everything. And so in trying to put that back together, instead of going, ‘Oh, nature kind of did something I couldn’t do for myself; it forced me to let go,’ I ran toward the fire." Liam is the fire. She said she loved him, she will always love him, but there was too much conflict in the marriage. This interview is an emotional thirst trap. These two, at some point, will burn each other again.

Yesterday Lainey wrote about Taylor Swift’s re-record of "Love Story", which sounds a lot like the original version of "Love Story". Swifties are noting one tiny but significant (if true) change: “Baby just say yes” has been changed to “baby just said yes.” Her fans are very perceptive and know to look for Easter eggs and this is exactly how Taylor would tell her fans she is engaged to Joe Alwyn. I’m just not sure if she is singing “says” or “said.” Taylor doesn’t leave these questions unanswered, so we will know soon enough.
