OK, heaping grain of salt, but the Daily Mail is reporting (via InTouch) that Gisele Bundchen and her boyfriend split from the “stress” of the Tom Brady roast. Maybe they split, I don’t know, because all we have to go on is pap shots and perhaps they are going out of their way to avoid being photographed together.
There’s been video of her seeming distressed over being followed. As for the stress of the roast, I didn’t watch it but I assumed the jokes were about Tom Brady completely fumbling with his marriage. Like Tom Brady is the joke in that scenario, Gisele is not the joke. I completely understand her not wanting the attention or wanting to be part of his post-retirement branding but she and Joaquin have been friends for a very long time, from before the divorce, and I don’t know if I buy this reasoning.
Also, back to sourcing on that: the InTouch team must be puffing their chests right now as they were the first to report on Bennifer 2.0 troubles. Most tabloids are wrong a lot but being right on one big thing goes a long way. And they had the story before PEOPLE, before Page Six, before US Weekly and before DeuxMoi.
So do they deserve some bragging rights? (Lainey: both stories are based on paparazzi photo frequency. My vote would be they got lucky.)
I have actually never watched this scene of Ethan Hawke and Liam Neeson acting out a scene from Real Housewives of New Jersey. I know the scene word-for-word but the wig on Ethan, LOL.
This Interview cover with Billie Eilish is good but the second shot with the blue eyeliner is GREAT. The interview is by Lana Del Rey and while I often find the celebrity-on-celebrity interview boring, Interview was doing this format long before they were pushed by PR teams and used a way to avoid unpredictable conversations with journalists. The short-ish Q&A works well here.
Shawn Mendes keeps a pretty low profile these days on social media, much like Justin Bieber, Harry Styles and Ed Sheeran. The pop boys are good at resisting the lure of Instagram. Like Justin Bieber, Shawn has stepped back from touring for his mental health and obviously, that’s a good thing. Touring is draining and takes up years of one’s life, especially these mega world tours that seem endless. I think some artists really don’t enjoy touring but can’t say that because it makes them seem ungrateful. And with streaming, the internal pressure from their team must be insane because tours and merch are the money makers; artists become corporations when they go on tour.
