Looks like Brooklyn Peltz-Beckham stayed quiet for North American Mother’s Day. Didn’t see a post about his mother-in-law, though, so it looks like a snub rather than a jab. There is a difference.

A lot of people think this Goop teaser is about Meghan Markle but the flats and the bracelet are not Meghan – she wouldn’t wear pieces that are so flashy. It looks like Emma Grede to me. But I have no doubt GP and Meghan will cross over on their podcasts at a point that maximizes the exposure for both of them.

Sometimes there’s too much TV, but I’ve been waiting for Lena Dunham’s new show for what feels like forever and there’s finally a first look. In the midst of a Girls rewatch, I feel very familiar with this cinematic universe.

This edited caption from Diane Kruger now says “I’ll love you forever…” but it didn’t say that yesterday. I can’t remember yesterday’s wording and didn’t take a screenshot but let’s keep our eyes on it. Or not. Norman Reedus has an interesting fan base.

Apparently Kate Moss’s wellness brand is in trouble – did we know Kate Moss had a wellness brand? Since 2022! I really try to keep up with this stuff but there’s no part of my brain that recognizes this. The UK tabloids are reporting it is in some kind of trouble and considering it’s only three years old, that’s not surprising. Upscale wellness is a tough sell right now.

In more celebrity business news, sources have told Forbes that Mandy Teefey (Selena Gomez’s mother) has told staff she took a loan out against her home to cover payroll at Wondermind, a mental health startup cofounded by Mandy and Selena.

The immediate social media reaction is “why doesn’t Selena just pay for it” but I’m guessing there is a lot more happening behind the scenes with the business structure, investor funds, and Selena’s actual role (versus her marketing role). All of this would be overseen by multiple people, it’s not like Selena can Venmo them. The most important thing is that the employees are paid on time and in full. To not do that will directly impact their mental health. I also question how a boss telling her staff she leveraged her house is supposed to make them feel. Grateful? Or guilty?

There’s the dream blunt rotation and nightmare blunt rotation, but I nominate this for random blunt rotation. (And is there any sentence Arnold can’t work “terminate” into? No, there is not.)
